Being born and bred In Newcastle isn’t a pre-requisite to doing well, but when your business is people and places it helps to have an affinity and respect for your home town.

I joined the property industry in 2001, after careers in newspapers (The Newcastle Sun and The Newcastle Herald) and later as a restauranteur owning several eateries in Hamilton.
Both ‘past lives’ taught me many lessons – among which are the value of playing it straight down the line and the realisation that good service isn’t an option, it is a given. Always aim well-above ‘good’.
And my time as a musician, playing around Newcastle and the Hunter in some well-known groups, has been a singular privilege which continues to this day.
If you ask anyone to name the single most important trait they seek in a Real Estate Agent the answer would be TRUST. Trust is built through consistent communication, competence, knowledge and attitude.
